This was one of the most fun moments I have had the pleasure of being a part of! Sean posted for a photographer for his proposal on Craigslist back in October. Firstly, I am never on Craigslist, second I have never applied for a gig through craigslist. However, I saw Sean’s post and something about it just made me want to respond. A month later and after Sean had weeded through thirty other photographer’s portfolios we connected and started planning! He knew he wanted it to happen in San Francisco, and we both knew Baker Beach was the perfect spot.
On the day the proposal happened me and my lovely assistant Amanda beat Sean and Lina to the beach and got our gear ready to go. Sean and I had planned than when they walked up I would be pretending to be in the middle of a session with Amanda, that way he could guide Lina next to me without her suspecting a thing.
Everything was set in place and Sean and Lina stepped on to the beach. Much to Sean;s chagrin, Lina decided she wanted to walk ALL the way across the beach, about a 15 minute walk from where we were set up to have Sean propose. But Sean did a great job, he played the part, took the walk, smiled for selfies, and steered Lina back to where he would ask her to spend forever with him.
From there, its history.
